Complete List of Compatible Devices By Model

LiDAR is used on the "pro" version of iPhones and iPads. So if your device has the name "pro" in it, there's a good chance you can use the Devrio 3D scanning app. Apple first released LiDAR on their iPhones and iPads in 2020, so if you purchased your phone around then or later, there is also a good chance it's equipped with LiDAR.

I Don't Know My Device Model. Do I Know if it Has LiDAR?

Look for Three (3) Cameras on the Back

The quickest way to tell if your device has LiDAR is to look for three cameras on the rear. All iPhone and iPad Pro's are distinguished by the three rear cameras.

Try Downloading the Devrio 3D Scanning App

If you try downloading the Devrio App on a device without LiDAR, you're not going to make it very far. Try downloading the app by visiting the Apple App Store.

My Device Isn't Compatible. Is There Anything I Can Do?

Here are some things you can do if your device is not compatible with the Devrio 3D scanning app.

  • Try borrowing a device from someone else in your household. There's no account setup or login to the app so it's an incredibly seamless experience.

  • Join the waitlist for Google Play and other non-LiDAR devices. We're in the process of building a 3D scanning app for all major smartphones.
